  • If you have a preferred duct layout, the preferred SEER rating of AC, preferred efficiency of heating system (80%, 92%, 96%), type of heating system: Furnace, heat pump, or straight electric coils. If you want us to choose the equipment, we can do that as well.

Architectural Project Plans (Optional): Please furnish architectural drawings or plans outlining the building's layout and design, inclusive of floor plans, elevations, and relevant structural details. Duct Layout (Optional): If you possess a pre-existing duct layout or wish to provide your own design, please hand draw them on the room layout. This assists in Manual D calculations and includes details of the ductwork design, such as trunk lines, branch lines, and register locations. Alternatively, our team can estimate based on the plans provided. Manual S Details: Please supply information on the HVAC equipment intended for use, specifying the brand, model, and series. Additionally, indicate the preferred SEER rating for the air conditioning unit and desired efficiency rating for the heating system (e.g., 80%, 92%, 96%). If assistance with equipment selection is required, kindly indicate this in your submission. Also, specify the number of units on each floor and the total number of units in the property. REScheck Requirements: If REScheck compliance verification is necessary, provide any pertinent documents or information pertaining to energy code requirements, insulation levels, window specifications, and HVAC system details. Alternatively, we can utilize the Project Construction details. By submitting these documents, our team can conduct accurate and comprehensive calculations for your HVAC project, ensuring optimized energy efficiency, comfort, and compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.

The calculations are based on the information given to Manual J Express in the form of drawings, sketches, and interviews. A licensed mechanical contractor may use these calculations as a starting point in system sizing and selection.
